Volunteer Information and Sign-Up

Like all successful Bike Events, the Wilson 100 relies on the cooperations and hard work of its volunteers to assure a succesful event! If you have a love for cycling, we welcome your participation at this year's event. We have opportunities for volunteers whom still wish to participate in the event, as well as volunteers who will focus on support while the event is underway. Your hard work will contribute to the promotion of cycling by the Southern Bicycle League, as well as directly benefit our 2008 beneficiary, Project Adventure Kids!

1. What do I receive for being a Volunteer?
   All non-participation volunteers will receive a 2008 Wilson 100 T-Shirt, a commemorative arm band, and will be invited to participate in the post race meal catered by Dean's Cuisine, as well as to participate in the Expo and be eligible to receive gifts from Sponsors and Vendors. All participation volunteers will receive the same benefits as an event participant (same as above) at a discount rate of 50% ($15 saving) in appreciation of their volunteer efforts.

3. How many volunteers are needed, and what are some examples of duties?
   Approximately sixty volunteers are needed to produce the Wilson 100. A partial list of volunteer positions and the ability to sign-up online is provided below.
